Your Protagonist
On Monday we had a presentation about people who are on the margins of society and struggling to get by. We were told that they faced two major problems. 1. Meeting basic needs; shelter, food, clothing. 2. Having a Broken Heart. As our speaker said, everybody has 'heart' damage, but hopefully we have enough safety nets to keep us safe when heartbreak happens. Major heartbreak has been caused by residential schools, which has contributed to the homeless problem in Winnipeg, which the speaker went into in some detail.
Question to answer about your protagonist. What challenges, if any, does your protagonist face in meeting 1. Basic Needs 2. Having a Broken Heart
I think he has stell of his basic needs; shelter, food, clothing

coles broken heart is that he thinks nobody loves him or doesnt care about him hes basic needs are food shelter clothing
ReplyDeleteIf Cole wants it, he’ll get it. He had a shelter, but he brunt that down. He has to get is own food he has to hunt it, and for drinks he has to drink out of a pound thing.
